The life of Beany, in words

Scrolling plays a short silent film. Here is what it shows, in order:

1. A coffee branch with glossy leaves and ripe red cherries.
2. One ripe coffee cherry, up close.
3. The cherry splits open and the green bean inside comes out.
4. The raw green coffee bean.
5. The bean roasts from green to deep brown.
6. A steel grinder comes down over the roasted bean and turns it into grounds.
7. Espresso drips from the grounds and pours into a cream-colored cup.
8. The finished cup: a latte with foam art on top.
